I partnered with Immigria through my work at Focus21 to redesign their website, focusing on clarifying information, strengthening credibility, and creating a more structured onboarding journey. I led UX and UI design, reworked the information architecture, translated complex legal content into clear, plain language, and built the site in Webflow to ensure the experience was both cohesive and scalable.
Problems Solved
Immigration is inherently complex and high-stakes. However, the original site amplified that complexity. Information hierarchy was inconsistent, key services were buried, animations and UI elements lacked cohesion, and the team’s credentials were not positioned strongly enough to build trust. For users already navigating uncertainty about visas, permits, and permanent residence pathways, the experience felt overwhelming. The site needed to simplify dense legal information, reduce cognitive load, establish authority, and guide users toward clear next steps such as the free eligibility assessment or consultation booking.
The Solution
I restructured the information architecture to group services around user intent rather than internal terminology, using simple language and clear pathways. We elevated team credibility by highlighting certifications, licenses, and leadership upfront, reinforcing institutional trust early in the journey. I designed a streamlined onboarding funnel centered on a free eligibility assessment, supported by search functionality, clearer navigation, and accessible design standards. The result was a cleaner, more authoritative experience that balanced professionalism with clarity, helping prospective immigrants move from uncertainty to action with confidence.
